Air Fryer Hamburger Hamlet’s Zucchini Zircles with Apricot Sauce is a healthier alternative to the original Fried Zucchini Zircles.

Famous for their Fried Zucchini Zircles with Apricot Sauce, I present to you, Air Fryer Hamburger Hamlet’s Air Fryer Zucchini Zircles with Apricot Sauce. With all the flavor and a fraction of the calories, you are going to want more and more of this delectable appetizer.

For the main course, may I suggest, Air Fryer Hamburger Hamlet Fried Chicken Wings & Secret Apricot Sauce? Both of these dishes are what Hamburger Hamlet was famous, after they started doing more than Burgers.

My Air Fryer is quickly becoming my best friend, well after my Junie Moon, who is the love of my life, along with my sweet boy, Chester. Chester turned 19 last week.

From what I have read, the Fried Zucchini Zircles with Apricot Sauce recipe, along with the Hamburger Hamlet’s Secret Apricot Sauce are supposed to be the exact recipes used at Hamburger Hamlet. Therefore, I cannot call them copycat recipes. Yay, right! The real thing in your own home!!!! Copycat recipes, which often times taste like the original, but are not the original recipe, like my Air Fryer Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich recipe would be called copycat.

You only need a few ingredients for the Air Fryer Hamburger Hamlet’s Zucchini Zircles, but before you start preparing them, make sure you have already made the Hamburger Hamlet’s Secret Apricot Sauce and placed it into the refrigerator to chill and meld.

Line a 1/2 Cookie Sheet with Paper Towels. Slice the Zucchini into 1/4 inch round “Poker Chips” and place them on the Paper Towels. The towels will catch excess water, as you want the slices to be as dry as possible.

Dredge the Zucchini in the flour and shake off. Dunk them in the milk completely and flip. Then pass them through the Seasoned Bread Crumbs. You want to make sure not to gunk up your fingers. So, either use tongs or your fingers, like so:

With your dry left hand, put Zucchini into the flour and coat. Shake off any excess. Then drop the Zucchini into the milk on top of the fork and flip. Then, using the fork, pick up the Zucchini and place in the Seasoned Bread Crumbs. With your dry right hand, dredge them through the Seasoned Bread Crumbs. I am right handed. If you are left handed, you might prefer to go from right to left instead.

Alternatively, drop all the Zucchini slices into a Ziploc Bag, add the flour and shake. Then dig them out and go to the milk step.

Place all the Zucchini Zircles on a Wire Baking Rack, so that any lose Crumbs will fall off and not clutter up the Air Fryer Basket.

I use the Fine Life Oil Mister because it works really well and allows me to spray for a longer time than the others I have tried. So, use your Oil Mister and give the Zucchini Zircles a really good spray of Oil.

Carefully, place Zucchini Zircles into the greased Air Fryer Basket. Cook for 8 minutes, making sure to flip after 4 minutes. After flipping, give the Zircles another good spray of Oil.

Here is the weird part. After pulling our the Air Fryer Hamburger Hamlet’s Zucchini Zircles from the Air Fryer, sprinkle them with Powdered Sugar. I do realize that it sounds odd. Trust me on this. Remember, the Air Fryer Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwiches? Some of you questioned me on that and then made them the second time and said, oh, okay, I see the light.

Now, tell me if you can live with an Air Fried version of the Hamburger Hamlet’s Zucchini Zircles. Yeah, I know it is not the same, but, man, they sure are good. Let me know what you think. Hey, before you go, now that you have a big batch of the Apricot Sauce, why not make some Air Fryer Hamburger Hamlet’s Fried Chicken Wings as your main course. Get all nostalgic and stuff!
